You, more than likely, have what you need in your craft box! Little hands can help tape and even cut in this fun Halloween paper plate crafts activity. Grab your materials and head to the table. Start by thinking of what type mask you and your child would like to make. A witch, a pumpkin, a monster…we decided on a bat and a Frankenstein. Once you have decided, go ahead and cut to eye holes out. I turned the plate over and drew two circles as a guide as to where to cut.
After the eye holes have been cut out, go ahead and draw the different details. For the bat, I drew wings, a mouth with teeth and eyebrows. For the Frankenstein, I drew a mouth, stitches and hair.
Once all the details were cut out, I let my daughter help place the tape on the pieces and lay them down on the plates. The final thing to do was tape on the plastic spoons!
You can either use twine and place the mask around your face or use plastic spoons and hold the mask up. Either way works! She preferred the spoon handles.
And voila! Grab a black or green shirt to go with your mask and you have a fun costume to play around the house in. This would also be a really fun craft project to do at a Halloween party that the guests could take home with them.
